Victor McLaglen
One of the first exhibits a visitor encounters when entering the Winnipeg Police Museum is a display honouring Academy Award-winner Victor McLaglen, who was a constable with the Winnipeg Police in 1907.
Frank Ritchie
For a short time in 1877-78, Frank Ritchie served as a detective for the City of Winnipeg. He even applied for the Chief’s job in 1875. However, despite his 8 years’ experience as a Dominion Police officer and several more with the Ottawa Police, he was not selected.
